I had the privilege of photographing the Kidding Around Cover Contest winner for the Jan/Feb edition. It’s out in distribution today and the cover looks great! I love the image they picked, it’s so fun and it really shows of Adison’s personality. Here’s the cover and here are a couple of other favorites from the photo shoot. Be sure to pick up a copy of Kidding Around at any of the local business that carry the paper!
Happy New Year! Here it is – my annual post to review the year before. I love doing these reviews at the beginning of the new year to look back on last year and see all the beautiful, smiling faces I had the privilege to photograph! Just a quick note to let everyone know the studio is now closed for the Holidays. It’s been a great holiday season and I want to thank all of my wonderful clients for keeping me so busy. I’m now taking some time off to enjoy the holidays with my family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!! I will be back to work on Wednesday, January 4th. Now that Halloween is over it’s time to shift gears and focus on Christmas, can you believe it?? What should we wear for our portrait session? That is the most common question I am asked before every portrait session so I thought I would put together some suggestions. Check out the family portrait below! This is a family portrait from last fall where I just loved the clothing they selected. I know most people tend to want to do all matching outfits but I wanted to show an example of how beautiful coordinating colors (that don’t match exactly) look. I have also added some suggestions below from items that are in stores now. You do not need to go out and buy these exact outfits if you have an upcoming session. This is meant to act as inspiration and give you some ideas on what you might like for your family portraits. Please feel free to contact me for any questions you have regarding clothing selection before you session.
